The West End Civic Association has been in existence for more than 30 years.
It is your primary neighborhood organization, taking on many different neighborhood
issues to improve the quality of life for all of us. WECA strives to make the
West End a first-class place to live and shop and we need your help to continue.
We want you to know that we want to make every one in the neighborhood feel
part of the West End Civic Association. The neighborhood is divided into five
geographic sectors, each with sector representatives. They will be working
with block groups to contact residents to hear about any problems or concerns
you have about the neighborhood.
In addition, we have nine committees: Architectural
Resources, Education, Finance, Housing, Membership, Public Safety,
Seniors, Social Activities, and Zoning. We encourage you to participate
in the work of these committees.
It costs money to operate and we ask that you give as generously as
you are able to. Download our
membership form for 2010. Please print
it out, complete it and return it to us with whatever contribution
you feel is appropriate.
Feel free to call or e-mail David Barrett, president, or Charlie Ortiz,
membership chair, with any comments or questions about WECA. Charlie
can be reached at 841-2345 or charlie@segarralaw.com; David can be
reached at 509-9519 or dbarrett@hartsem.edu.
We look forward to working with all residents of the West End.
