SCHOOL CHOICE FAIRS

City-wide School Choice Fairs will be presented by the Hartford Public Schools and the Regional School Choice Office. The dates for the fairs are listed below. All parents are strongly encouraged to attend one of the fairs to ask questions and determine which school is best for your child. All public, magnet and technical schools will be in attendance at each event. A few things to note:

The application is available only online (it will be accessible from ANY computer at a school, library, church etc.)

• The application is available January 1, 2010. The deadline for submission is March 30, 2010.
• Current Hartford Public School students will need their student ID number to fill out the application
• The application has 6 steps.
• There is a Choice booklet available to explain options and answer questions.

Free transportation to and from the event is given courtesy of the Connecticut Department of Transportation. (2 passes per family)

Saturday, 1/30/2010 – the Learning Corridor, 9:00 am to 12 noon
